Education: Women and girls are banned from education in Afghanistan by the Taliban. Universities and schools are closed all over the country. Women and girls are deprived of their basic rights. Education is the one of the basic rights of women and girls based on Islamic and human rights principles and values. No one has the right to ban girls and women from education, leaning, and teaching. The government has the responsibility to facilitate access of women and girls to educational services in the country.
